Sorry, fit of stir-crazy insanity. I like your use of texture in this piece. The look of the draped fabric is especially nice. Again, the free-form style is nice for this piece.
On an off-topic note, I really do like your other style, too. I think your drawing of Terzian is one of your most powerful drawings.
Thanks, I was chuffed with the fabric, I used a calligraphy 'wet' setting with a large 'nib' and then turned down the intensity so it was semi transparent... Yeah, clear as mud I know LOL
I am finding this particular style good for scenes as opposed to portraits actually, as I can somehow get more atmosphere into them and it's interesting as I have often had a scene in mind but then felt too nervous to tackle it. THAT'S another reason I have always admired Nellas' work!
The other style is still 'my' style and I will go back to it for more moody pictures of har and elves, and I like Terzian too!
Yeah, the curtains cover a multitude of sins too! I just COULDN'T quite get Pell's legs right!
Thanks, glad you like it, I read the passage several times and was struck by the curtains actually and thought it would be good if you felt you were watching a private, secret moment :D
Yes I remembered that Flick said something like 'I had my head shaved and liked it so I left it like this' and then I read back to the first description of Flick. Then I read the passage a couple of times to try to get it 'right'
