sildilStill have a cold....and it wasn't helped by boss using sad, puppy-dog eyes on me and making it impossible for me to say no to working the extra hours....(and believe me, a vicar making puppy dog eyes is a sight to be seen). Yes, he was INCREDIBLY grateful, and full of praise for everything I did, BUT I WANTED TO BE AT HOME....IN BED....ASLEEP!
Anyway, day brightened somewhat after Other Half's return from the Isle of Skye..(and yes, he DID have a good time, even if it was work, and he did stare out at the mountains from his B&B) but to make me feel better he brought me a print of a painting by a local artist up there, with the wonderful name of Hamish MacDonald. All splodgy and atmospheric, just my sort of thing.
...and now its the weekend so hopefully I will have a chance to shake off this wretched cold.
