1. When I was a kid my mum had my hair permed at the AGE OF FIVE, because she wanted it curly. I never had it straight till I was in my late teens...it's a wonder I have any left.
2. When I dream I dream in full colour, with a cast of thousands and multiple intensely detailed locations, in fact I've drawn them out before now.
3. My earliest memory is sitting in my pram and poking at the rain hood.
4. My first ever Mary Sue's (in my head only!) were with the children of The Secret Garden, after watching the 1960's BBC TV version. I used to HAVE to say goodnight to all of them before I went to sleep...thinking about it, even then aged about 8 I thought the girl, Mary, was an intrusion!!!
5. I saw Dr Zhivago COUNTLESS times in the cinema when it came out and wanted to be Lara.
6. I'm one eighth Lithuanian, one sixteenth Russian, one eighth Irish, one eighth Belgian and the rest, who knows!
