(no subject)

Right....this post is actually a medicinal one to try to clear stuff off geek's 'Friends' page in her LJ...but also a chance to moan about absent partners.

It is a Saturday, the ONE day of the week when we get to do family stuff and, God forbid, actually get to spend quality time together, and where is he? At a one day course on 'How to be a Churchwarden', as if he didn't know already since he's been doing the bloody job extremely well for the last 6 years...AND it's supposed to be voluntary...AND he's never bloody here anyway, away overnight with work, at bloody meetings when he's not...

I FEEL NEGLECTED!!!

But then it's not the first time and I suppose I'll get over it. Humph.

Ok....things I do for a friend...geek6 has asked me to do ANOTHER post to try and finally clear her 'Friends' page problem, so here goes....

Still musing on other half's absence...and listening to Billie Holiday probably doesn't help much....

I probably wouldn't feel quite so pissed off, if when he was here, he 'was' here...he suffers from a lethal combination of catholic guilt and protestant work ethic, so he has to be busy every minute of the bloody day doing something productive, and then he feels guilty about it, so hanging around doing bugger all is never on the agenda!
