A nice day in town...

I'm exhausted!

We, that is daughter, coz and mirien and I had a great day in London yesterday.
We got down there about lunchtime and went straightaway to see the exhibition of Wendy Froud's work (her stuff here...) - beautiful models of fairies and such, together with some paintings by other artists that I found very inspiring.

Then we wandered through Soho, failing to find the fabric shop that Lizzie's Nana had taken her to on her last visit, but instead finding a great vintage clothing shop (this one...)where Lizzie got a gorgeous short red dress!

THEN we finished off the day with a wonderful trip to Camden Lock (here...), where Lizzie bought a dress and a t-shirt, coz bought a dress and mirien bought a Sephiroth-style coat...and a wrap round skirt.

Back home very late via fish and chip shop!

(and ps: mirien is having major internet problems, so until we can debug her laptop she is a rather out of action - apologies to all on her YIM and f-list)
