(She managed to pull out her stitches at the vets and had to have them redone AND got her collar off while there. 'Oh if you give her some toys, she'll probably get distracted.' Yeah, right.)

How the bloody hell is she getting a buster collar off?? I know it sounds stupid, but does she have a normal collar on for you to attach it to? That's the way I kept it on Sephy and the only time she's worn a collar. Little minx. Both of them!

No she hasn't, THAT'S the problem, its just some bandage tape stuff! She does need a collar but I'm here alone so can't go get one! I might hunt around and see if there's one knocking about somewhere - and Simon isn't back till 10pm tonight, typical! She's settled now though, she's dozing on my lap, though she DID fall off a minute ago!

I know! She sort of relaxed, stretched, and lost her balance! She's getting a bit more used to it now, except when she tried to get past Stilton and the gap just WASN'T wide enough and she kept trying, banging into HIM and the kitchen unit he was next to!

We tell all our clients "fluffy/tiddles/etc has a buster collar on so she doesn't pull her stitches out and she needs to keep it on until we take them out. Yes that's a WHOLE 10 days" and then usually laugh XD

Ooooooh! I never knew what their proper term was. I just call them the "cones." :3

But yes, Kuro (little fiesty one in the icon, only he's bigger now) did not like his either. Never even left the vet's before we discovered he did not like wearing one. Hell, he doesn't even like wearing a regular collar. You can play, treat, and distract him all you want; that collar WILL come off somehow, someway, someday.

Heh yeah, Pepper HAAAATED it with a LOOAATHING, but she spent all evening on my lap and she seems to be getting used to it now, crossed fingers!

She's been such a good girl, she got used to it! and it stayed on!

Better day today, she kept the collar on all night and today and seems used to it! She sleeps on my lap all the time ^_^
