I really love the play of shadow and light on his face, and his eyes.

It's actually rather evocative of some German Expressionism.

Thank you. I am slowly trying out other ideas, and since Mirien really is a rather mysterious, 'night elf', I thought it would be fun to play with the shadows a bit.

LOL I have found that I tend to lean, eventually, to German Expressionism in most stuff I do! Must be my serious nature!!!! *falls about laughing!*

Well, maybe, when you are famous and being exhibited in galleries, people will talk about your Expressionist period, and then your subsequent Italian Futurist period.
