I got a digital camera!!!

Yes!!! Got a digital camera and have been playing all day! As well as embarrassing photos of family and pets, some of which MAY be shown at a later date, here is a photo of the corner where I do all my drawing....



Yes, the painting for Rattie WILL be finished, I promise...the mannequins are NEVER put in compromising positions...the card with the heart on it was from my other and better half...the pics on the wall are left to right, birthday card from ilye_elf, nice pre-raphaelite painting, two sons, eldest and girlfriend, and two of Jen in Tintagel...books and folders to the right are all my source books and files...

The next pic is of 'my' shelf with most of my art books, over the piano...



My fave artist, Paula Rego...all my Neil Gaiman 'Sandman books'...and assorted other stuff, far too numerous to mention.

My Christmas was very merry, thank you, and I hope yours was too. It was lovely having 'just us' here as a family, sans romantic attachments, we played games and charades and all sorts of daft stuff like that, and the food was lovely! Oh yes, digital cameras are brilliant, its so easy now taking stuff and editing it, getting the right pic etc etc....*realises she is rabbiting on now in her excitement!*

OMG...Is that a stuffed Sil???? CUTE! Actually, all of them are cute.

Oh yes, left to right there is Mirien, Celebrimbor, Gil-galad (EOAS style in pink negligee) and Sil! AND they are anatomically perfect! The Gil was made for me by Ilye and Sil by Mirien for my birthday, the other two were made for someone else by Mirien, but she brought them to show me and Ilye took the piccie! You can't see, but Sil has pierced ears and a pierced nipple, and safety pins in his top! The evening that Ilye and Mirien were making the anatomically perfect bits, they were in IM conf with me and it was one of the funniest evenings I have spent, filled with cries such as, 'oh blast, I've lost a testicle' followed by, 'never mind I have a spare'!
