1) Total volume of music files on my computer?
Er...it's a new computer and I only just downloaded I'm Turning Japanese because I needed to listen to it to make has of the lyrics :P I tend to just use my walkman.
2)The Last CD I bought was....
Soundtrack to the anime APPLESEED
3a)The last song I listened to before writing this was....
KYRIE ~ an choral/industrial mix from the WITCHHUNTER ROBIN soundtrack
3b)Song playing right now:
It's too early. Half the household is still in bed.
4)Five Songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me.
That's two completely different questions!! I'll have to go with the latter.
01)Les PĂȘcheurs de perles, opera in 3 acts Au fond du temple saint
Composed by Georges Bizet ~ I listen to very little opera but this piece of music stops me dead in my tracks, makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck and triggers tears.
02)In-a-gadda-da-vida by Iron Butterfly ~ ...Hard to explain why, but suffice it to say it was MY song in the hippy-artist household I grew up in...it takes me back to being 8 again.
03)SING-SING-SING by Benny Goodman & his Orchestra ~ Big Band was my passion during my teen years and I drove my parents NUTS as I wore deeper grooves into the records. The drum/clarinet duets in this piece makes my blood rush like 90
04)TAKE MY HAND by TOTO from the Soundtrack DUNE ~ A piece of music that gives me chills...one that I took with me from the theatre and spent a decade trying to find a copy of. It's such a brief piece but it ...speaks to me to the point of giving me chills.
05).WALKING WOUNDED ~ by Tea Party This is my angsty song...this is the one I go to when I am seething and need to wallow in my hurt.

Date: 2005-04-05 02:03 pm (UTC)And Benny Goodman rocks! My passion too when young - I must have been one of the few 14 year olds who had a subscription to 'Jazz Journal' instead of 'Jackie' LOL
