Sildil: a Short Biography

sildilOnce again, on the EOAS tagboard, Sildil the punk elf has been damaged by Eldanar. This time he has been hit in the eye and has, as usual, played the drama queen and is now unconscious on the floor. This prompted said Eldanar to comment on the elf's all round wimpishness, and the elfling raised the valid question regarding how said punk elf coped with Helm's Deep, where we know that he fought beside Eldanar's natural Ada.
It was decided that Sildil was actually War Artist for the Lothlorien Gazette, and therefore not actually used to fighting, though he is capable of defending himself more than adequately if pressed. It was suggested by Eldanar that he was probably given the posting by Lord Celeborn, who was tired of his paparazzi tendencies to lurk in trees outside said Lord's talan trying to get a good sketch and juicy gossip for the rag. He was probably assigned to be with Eldanar's father, a worthy and brave elf named Tuor, because as Eldanar put it, "if he (Tuor) can put up with that harridan he married he can cope with Sildil!"
However, after seeing the horrors of Helm's Deep, he now grabs every opportunity for fun and outrageous behavior wherever possible...hence the punk make-over. 'Seize the Day' and all that.
