Some people used to call me...?
Budgie...a VERY long time ago..I used to eat sunflower seeds all the time.

I remind myself of my mother when...?
I am whiney and sulky.

The best place to watch a sunset is...?
Hanbury Churchyard, Worcestershire, on the edge of the bluff.

If I had a pet I'd name it...?
Have two cats already, Stilton and Garlic, so it would probably be food related.

One of the things I miss about home is...?
Seriously, my Mum's cooking.

I wish I could...?
Play an instrument really well, instead of just dabbling, but I am too lazy.

I wish someone had told the 11 year old me...?
That I was all right, and not some sort of dissapointment.

My favorite food is...?
*Sighs*..Pie and Mash...real Pie and Mash from Cook's in the East End, though it is now unfortunately closed. I am now vegetarian, no meat or fish, but would willingly break that just for one more plate of Pie and Mash..maybe with the side order of Stewed Eels, commonly served with it. The pies are meat, the mashed potato is thick and heavy, and the 'gravy' called 'liquor' is made from the stock the eels are cooked in, chopped parsley and flour. You eat it with lots of pepper and vinegar...and the eels are delicious, if a bit bony...have to be cooked very fresh and usually are killed and chopped on the premises..as a child I would stand at the left hand window in the picture below and watch..the live but stupified eels were kept in a tray of ice just in front, and when someone bought some, the seller would haul them out onto the chopping board and....hmmmm, maybe I wouldn't eat the eels now!

I'm afraid of...?
Anything happening to my family.

If I could be anywhere right now, I'd be...?
Lathkildale, Derbyshire...always.

This is my 'thin' place..in Celtic Christian Spirituality, a place you feel close to the Divine...everyone has one or two that are special to them.

I am most like my father when...?
I see any injustice or ignorance.

In a specific situation in the past, I wish I had said...?
Don't be such a wimp.

In 10 years I want to be...?
Drawing and even earning some money for it?.....please?

I am in love with and obsessed by...?
Family, friends, people generally.

Look further for details of East End delicacy, 'Pie and Mash'! Warning: Not for the faint hearted!
