OK, today seems to be going better.

Lizzie still feels crappy, but does seem a teeny bit better - I made her pancakes for breakfast/lunch.

Nick has gone with gf and Simon to flat hunt in Exeter (yes Simon took the day off!) and I had a phone call from Nick to say that the first one they saw really looks just right, so I am very hopeful it will be sorted by this evening.

I was getting worried that my post op recovery was going to be a lot longer than I had expected, but actually peasant stock rules and I feel much better today, still sore but less so.

I posted EVERYWHERE in RP groups and feel terribly smug, and I have sat with my feet up (as directed), played on the laptop, even done some drawing and knitted. Now I am just going to walk down to the shops (also as directed) and get some air/excercise with Lizzie.

Back in a bit!

Edit: Nick has a flat, sounds like a good one and he is well pleased with it!

Do you still take requests for drawings? I love seeing your art.

I'm glad that you're feeling better. I have a friend recovering from gall bladder surgery, and she finds it a pain to not be able to do the things she is used to. At least you have the computer to play with and keeo you occupied.

I do take requests, but have been SO busy recently - if something relly takes my fancy though....

Oh best wishes to your friend, I had gall bladder surgery back in May and it took a little while to be fully up to scratch again, but it was SO worth it. I'm sure she'll start to feel better soon.

I was wondering if you felt up to drawing a trio of crows in flight. XD You did such a kick ass drawing of Matthew the Raven last time I asked, I was hoping that you could be enticed to draw birds again. Whatever makes you happy to draw makes me happy to see it.

Oh that sounds interesting. Why in particular, and have you any preference as to layout/style? I can't promise it soon, but I am certainly interested.

I bloody love crows. XD I love the way their wings look in flight.

For layout, I was thinking of them all being in flight, one in the lead, wings "up", on in the middle, a little lower in the air, wings "a little down' so you can see the tips of the wings spread, and the last lower in the air still, with its wings under it. However, I leave that stuff up to you. I'm usually too delighted to get to see stuff like this to ever be picky.
