Not much to post really.

Been knitting Lizzie's jumper, a rather nice cardigan in GORGEOUS multi-coloured Noro yarn...( http://www.kangaroo.uk.com/catalogue/page_detail.php?pId=277&tId=19&stId=578 <---this pattern http://www.kangaroo.uk.com/catalogue/shades.php?stId=563&tId=5 <----number 17, though actually it's much darker, richer and nicer)

Did a commissioned drawing for a Christian education resources publishers ...hmmm...not terribly fond of the Church JUST at the moment, but my finer feelings go out of the window when offered £30 and something in print. I'm pleased with it too, and there may be more work from it.

Been driving Ponks everywhere, but am taking him to the docs tomorrow as I think he has a little pain.

Went to my occupational therapist today regarding my dislocated finger. Do you know, I injured it in July? Apparently dislocations take MONTHS to heal, and fingers are particularly difficult. Trust me. My therapist is very pleased though with my progress...I'm a good girl, I do my exercises.

Lizzie's been into school every day, not staying for the whole session but attending the lessons she has to, to keep up, and has been enjoying Media studies a lot. Sixth form suits her, and she had a nice day in particular today as her ex-ex boyfriend (remember Joe?) apologised to her for how he treated her back when they broke up.

Nick phoned from Exeter to say he's got my birthday present (good lad!), that he has been reading about physical theatre warm up games and is being terribly pretentious and 'thespian-ish'.

That's all folks!

So are things looking a bit more cheerful right now? I hope your finger will mend soon, I'm only glad you take it serious. I didn't when I had problems with my foot, and as a result... eh. So it's good to hear you're a good girl. Miss C. sends best wishes for a speedy recovery. :)

That cardigan is going to be absolutely stunning! How beautiful! I hope Ponks only has a little cough and needs no major surgery. ;-)

I hear you on the dislocated joint thing. I dislocated a joint in middle of my foot and broke a bone above the dislocation 13 years ago. The fracture healed up fine but the discolated joint kept deteriorating until I had to get it fused with bone from my hip and a couple screws put in. The ligaments and such around the joint still give me problems.

Good for Lizzie and for Nick!

Oooh, that is yummy yarn LOL I can't wait to be able to knit again. That Noro wool's like doing fairisle without all the arduous tieing in of ends! I think I can manage one for my Sis's toddler in another couple of months so I'll be hanging around the wool shop anytime soon and drooling. Actually, there's loads of good wool sites on the web. Here's one of my favs - http://www.getknitted.com/
