I think you deserved higher and I personally am suspicious because all of the first and second place winners LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE THE SAME ARTISTS! Maybe it's just me...I think you deserved FIRST!

I loved the first and second pieces, and all the entries were unnamed in fact. Also, my style is much more illustrative rather than 'graphic' and a more graphic style lends itself more to a logo or t shirt or such. I was pleased that they extended the prizes to include a second and third in fact, as originally there was only going to be one winner. Also, I submitted four pieces, so the same artist winning first and second is perfectly reasonable to me :) I think they were well deserved too x

BTW, what computer painting program are you using to colour it? Do you use a drawing tablet? Or is it really possible to draw like this with the mouse? You have some stunning effects there... especially the veil and the gold jewelry. :)

yes I do use a drawing tablet - I just replaced my old one with a Wacom tablet (the cheapest version they did!) And I use Corel Painter IX which I ADORE.
