Just so that you know what else I do sometimes...the current ongoing project is the rough design for a possible stained glass window at our local parish church.

Each month I do another bit of it(I've done about seven so far) and this is the latest...it's based on Lazarus, and you have to imagine that it is supposed to fit in the top left hand corner of a large medieval window, about 16 feet by 8 feet.

I've had to rough out the basic colours and plan, to fit each design into. Basically it goes light to dark from top to bottom, and blues to reds left to right.



When it's finished (or the design anyway) the plan would be to tidy it up and then discuss it with a stained glass expert...WHEN we have the money!!

Sometime I'll borrow other half's work digital camera and take pictures of the whole thing! At the moment, I've had to take this on a crap webcam...sorry the quality is pretty bad!

absolutely amazing. I can SO see your art on a church window. have you ever tried a wood cut, or linocut? (here's me hoping that this is the correct term for this).

and I'd be ever so happy to donate to see this in your church. I'd even break my own rules and ENTER the church to see it. :-)

Wow!...I am very honoured!...and yes, I have tried linocuts, I used to do them a lot, I love printing generally. I like the fact that you don't have complete control over it, and it isn't until you peel it back that you see exactly how it has turned out. Oh dear!..So little time to do all the projects I want to do!!!
