Went to see Shrek III last with SU and youngest remnant. I LOVED IT! I really hadn't expected to as much and went largely as daughter wanted us to all go together but, dare I admit it, I actually enjoyed it more than PotC III! It had some lovely moments and made me laugh out loud in several places!

On another note, I am going in for the day to my new job next Tuesday, which will be really good as then I won't be starting completely green and new in September and will at least know the basic running and layout of the library and school and where things are. And now there are only TWO WEEKS to the very end of my contract at my current job! YAY! I have a little light drawing work to do over the summer as well, which will earn me a little that is going to go into a special 'travelling fund'...

Lastly, borrowed a copy of 'Perfect Blue' on DVD from someone at school. She'd bought it on the strength of the blurb on the back, Hitchcock meets Disney, never having seen any anime, not even the Studio Ghibli stuff. I'm enjoying it a lot! Anyone else know it?

*takes a break from priming front hall...damn those 10' ceilings in this house*

I have heard that ShrekIII is very entertaining (from my teens) and yours in another thumbs up for it. :)

Congrats on the new job! I bet you can't wait to get out of the hole they've shoved you into!

As for Perfect Blue...I love it. It's one of those films that proves that animation is not just for kids and does NOT have to be dull or dumb just because it's a cartoon :)
