I didn't get the job I applied for in the library and have been feeling a bit glum today, in spite of having a very good day out with other half and middle son in Bradford. 'Bradford?' you may ask. Well, it's the birthplace of one of my favourite artists, David Hockney (he of 'Bigger Splash') and there is a converted mill there that has shops and a gallery of some of his stuff.

Anyway, that cheered me greatly and so did seeing that the Live Journal fairy (or fairies) has given me a pressie too. Thank you kind friend!
