sildilI didn't get the job I applied for in the library and have been feeling a bit glum today, in spite of having a very good day out with other half and middle son in Bradford. 'Bradford?' you may ask. Well, it's the birthplace of one of my favourite artists, David Hockney (he of 'Bigger Splash') and there is a converted mill there that has shops and a gallery of some of his stuff.
Anyway, that cheered me greatly and so did seeing that the Live Journal fairy (or fairies) has given me a pressie too. Thank you kind friend!

Date: 2005-08-03 01:26 am (UTC)And if it makes you feel any better, (because things are all relative to what you compare them too,) - One of my clients fell and needs to go to a group home now (he is fine), thus giving me less hours and today my car decided to give up its timing belt to the tune of around $600 to fix! Oddly I feel OK about it all.
After all, I have my health, my home, my family, and we all have each other!!!
