Another walk...
Jan. 18th, 2009 12:07 pmIt's sort of an internal resolution, to go on more walks this year. Partly exercise, partly just getting out in the countryside, partly to take photos and partly to reconnect a little more with spouse.
Anyway, yesterday it started off a nice day (though by the time we went on the walk it had clouded a bit) so we went to the local wonderfully named village of Chaddesley Corbett and walked up to Chaddesley woods, the nearest forest we have to home.

The inevitable cut tree ends - always so photogenic

The state of the path most of the way! Just as well I had my new red wellies...

I loved this tree, the hole looked like a cave and you could see right down inside...

An amazing flock of crows, never seen quite so many at once

These sheep and their friends followed spouse right across the field as he 'bleated' at them. I was not amused...

We finished our walk just as it was losing light...cue nice atmospheric shots!

Oh and those books I bought, to see if they're as bad as people were saying? They are. They're ghastly, just 'oh my god' bad in so many ways and that's just from skimming parts of them! I still love the film though.
