sildilOne of the slight problems with growing your own fruit and veggies is what to do with nature's bounty?
There are only so many raspberries one can eat with ice-cream before turning into one, so this week has seen The Great Preserve Making Session.
I have made...
Five jars of raspberry jam (to add to the previous six)
Nine jars of beetroot chutney
Fourteen jars of gooseberry jam
and (even though I say so myself!!!) a pretty AWESOME Tarte Tatin with our first apples!
I'll tackle the blackberries when I get back from hols!
