Oct. 28th, 2004 10:11 amThis has been a very strange half term week! Mainly as I left my job last Friday, and I keep having to remind myself that I am not really 'on holiday' that this is actually 'it' until I get another one. It's a nice feeling though, to know I don't have to go back to the Parish Office and all its problems.
Then we had our eldest visiting from Uni at Edinburgh, his first (brief) visit since leaving home in September. It was so lovely to see him and I was pleased that he fitted back in so easily. I knew we would have no difficulties, but I wanted him to feel comfortable. He is loving his course and full of all sorts of interesting stuff!
Daughter (and boyfriend) seem to have resolved the problem with John, thankfully. I still don't trust John as far as I can throw him, but daughter is happy as she is friends again with her 'best friend' and that is a good thing. Gah! Teenager love and friendships ~ ghastly aren't they?
Middle son, daughter and daughter's boyfriend are just 'around' so much at the moment though, as well as other half, and so my time on the computer and therefore the internet is a little erratic this week. Next week when all are back at school and work, I will be back to normal!
And lastly, I have an interview today so fingers crossed everyone!
