Daeron and Maglor

enismirdal wrote the most wonderful fic called 'A Falcon for the Nightingale' about Daeron and Maglor. I can't remember the last time a story affected me so much, and if you haven't read it, then do. It inspired me to have a go at a slightly different style of picture....



Daeron finds Maglor searching in the sand for the silmaril...

(.... is it supposed to be read L-R or R-L? I tend to read L-R for manga reasons. *lol*)

Thanks! LOL I hadn't really thought about it too much, I guess it's sort of left to right, but actually it's more top to bottom! It doesn't matter too much about the order of the top three frames, but L to R makes a bit more sense!

I think I did it R-L Top to Bottom. It still made sense. And then I thought about it. Most 'Western' comic type things read L-R. My brain is just wired differently now after reading manga for so many years.

Now, I guess I really need to get my act together and read this story to find out why Maglor would be searching in the sand for the Silmaril. Should be a pleasant task as I have heard nothing but good things about Eni's story.

Oh do read it, it really is very good indeed. beautifully written and a lovely idea. I loved the scene that I drew so much, it just caught my imagination somehow.
