If no one has read Rattie's latest chapters of 'A Far Distant Shore', do so at once! She let me have a preview of the next one so that I could do this for her. And she PROMISES us that things WILL work out alright!!! (She also said I could post this early as a teaser!)

Note: Frost's tattoos are taken from hidden_hero's drawings of Frost, since for me, those pictures ARE Frost, and I am sure that goes for most of us.

OOOOh lovely drawing....I really now must scoot over to Rattie's corner and see what she has been doing to trigger such an angst inducing illustration of Frost!

*ponders*...I really like the touch of the sparks...it gives the compositon a very moving quality...in that it almost gives it an audio (you can hear the crackle of the wood in th flames)

Thanks, I added the sparks just at the end almost as an afterthought, I thought they gave it a lot more life and I do love sparks when they fly up from bonfires.

Please pardon me for barging into your LJ unannounced, but that is fabulous! So very evocative and beautifully rendered. But I'm afraid it has exacerbated my already dreadful case of Magic Rat new-chapter-withdrawal. ;-)

Whine again, replay last chapter in her head, needs comfort, thanks the Valar that Chocolate Easter Egg still present because Emergency Malteser pack already finished,
Cry again at the wonderful picture, cry for Elrohir and Frost, only enlightenment of the day is that Miss Rat promised everything will be fine in the end and that tonight is CSI night!

I repeat myself maybe, but you are a great artist, you are always able to convey a mood in your illustrations and made us react accordingly.
