For delaese: Frost's Pyre

If no one has read Rattie's latest chapters of 'A Far Distant Shore', do so at once! She let me have a preview of the next one so that I could do this for her. And she PROMISES us that things WILL work out alright!!! (She also said I could post this early as a teaser!)

Note: Frost's tattoos are taken from hidden_hero's drawings of Frost, since for me, those pictures ARE Frost, and I am sure that goes for most of us.

OOOOh lovely drawing....I really now must scoot over to Rattie's corner and see what she has been doing to trigger such an angst inducing illustration of Frost!

*ponders*...I really like the touch of the sparks...it gives the compositon a very moving quality...in that it almost gives it an audio (you can hear the crackle of the wood in th flames)

AHhh tis was a chapter posted when I was busy with Xan and my new pc was being set up.

Thanks, I added the sparks just at the end almost as an afterthought, I thought they gave it a lot more life and I do love sparks when they fly up from bonfires.

Yes, Rattie has been VERY mean to Frost! *glares*

I axed a character I thought no one would miss in the interest of beginning a new plot. I was wrong. LOTS of people missed him!

*chuckles*....well he is a fairly special character.

But then I doubt that you could separate any of your elves from their souls and not have some kind of fluff up amongst the readers.

I must admit though ~ you have to be true to yourself as a writer and go where your muses lead you. Readers I think forget that.

Oh I agree Pira, and in any case, I think this last chapter and Rattie's current writing is some of the best she's done, AND it got a drawing out of me! *joins in huggling the Rat*

Thanks love. Well it worked out for the best; it gave me a couple great plot bunnies. BTW, that beautiful drawing Master Erestor purchased from you for me was stollen out of the mail. I feel really bad about it, I'm sorry I lost it.
