Legolas and the Gulls...
Apr. 23rd, 2005 07:22 pm
Had I known what the sea would look like
How the white gulls would call to my heart
Would I have followed him through darkness
When it is the light that is stealing my soul?
In my mind I can still hear them singing
The sounds of the waves on the sand
And my memory soars in the night time
Hearing the gulls that sweep over the sea
And so I met my doom in that hour
When we thread down the mountain side
Where the land and the sea are kissing
I knew what my faith would be
Still for a while I must linger in torment
my heart and my soul torn apart
but when the leaves are finally falling
the sea will finally call me home
