A couple of years ago while at college, we were given a 'live project' from a local advocacy group. They helped people less able to represent themselves for various reasons with their day to day problems. Stuff like landlords trying to bully them, employers taking advantage of them etc. etc. Anyway, this was one of my cartoons, more as a comment on the situation of being unable to speak up for yourself and being helpless than to promote the advocacy group. I hope it speaks for itself...

I like that. It makes quite a statement.

It is very effectful and visually very dramatic. Lovely work!

There is a definite emotional statement in that piece.. *sits staring trying to figure out what sil used.. * I really like how you've limited things to black and white... The contrast really makes a statement.. Very well done.
*hugs*

Fantastic - it really hits the point. The open mouth/mute aspect is especially impressing. You really got into the head of these people, I think if they had the skill, they'd made an equal drawing.

You never fail to surprise me. :)
