OK, it could be post-birthday blues, it could be the dread of returning to work on Monday or it could be the fact that other half is away at his mother's for the next couple of days, back on Monday. Whatever it is (and it is most likely the latter given the circumstances) I feel rather miserable and so have posted two more pics from my short break to cheer myself up.

Yes, it is a really special place. We walked for the whole morning along past One Ash Grange, down Calesdale and back up Lathkildale past Lathkil Head cave. I have to say there were many Lord of the Rings moments all the way along, poor other half had to put up with me spouting elves all the time! He was very tolerant!

Thanks. I have to say if I had limitless funds I would drag everyone I know to this place and defy anyone to continue to feel blue in any way while standing at the top of the dale!
