Mar. 31st, 2004 05:36 pmI've got a cold!..Ok, it's not a bad cold, but I have lost my voice.
I cannot remember the last time I was ill, or when I had to take time off work, but I am not going in this evening. The trouble is, I only work two hours a day, and to cover the hours I missed yesterday,(to go down to London), I said that I would work 4 hours tomorrow.
Now I am worrying that not only will I have to struggle in, but I will have to cope with a long morning as my boss will be there, hoping to get all the extra stuff done that he has planned for me.
Damn....I could really do without it!

Date: 2004-04-01 03:12 am (UTC)the taste probably needs some getting used to, but i can tell you, it is highly effective. guaranteed to drive out any cold ^_^
if the ginger taste is really too pronounced for you, try this: simmer for only 10 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of black tea and let it steep for 3 more minutes. strain out ginger, spices and tea. add a cup of milk and heat until very hot but do not boil. -> recipes from someone who's constantly losing her voice ^^
