Apr. 21st, 2004 11:32 amIt's no use...I can't resist it!...(I'm a terrible copycat I know!)
Ask me three questions and I'll try and answer them!

For drawing, I am really into pencils at the moment, whereas a few months ago I did everything in an old fashioned dip pen and ink. For colour stuff, I guess acrylic paint, but I used to use soft pastels all the time and am just starting to use oils. But if I HAVE to choose, it's probably pencils, I love drawing.
3. These are SO difficult!..but fun to answer! I probably haven't got a favourite picture as such...as some I like because I loved the place I drew them in, (I like to draw landscapes when I'm not doing elves) or the time that I made them. I suppose the one I was most pleased with was a portrait in acrylics I was commissioned to do for a friend's birthday, from photographs. It was of her sister who had died a few years before and the friend's husband asked me to do it as a surprise. Firstly, I had never done a portrait before, and secondly, I knew that if it wasn't exactly right, it would be a terrible thing. I had some really crappy photos to work from too, as her husband couldn't give me any that his wife would miss. Anyway, it worked and she was really very happy with it. It always pleases me that I'd managed to do that.
I hope that's answered your questions satisfactorily!
