Mary Magdalene
May. 15th, 2004 06:47 pmI have been busy this afternoon, doing this month's stained glass installment for church tomorrow. Fortunately, it was a good subject,'Mary Magdalene'.
I don't know if anyone remembers the one I did last month?...anyway, only two more to go. Then it is up to the Vicar to try and raise the money to do it!! I'm glad it's not my problem...I think I will be old and grey by the time they actually managed to make it into a window!

Date: 2004-05-16 10:23 am (UTC)I am only taking this 'little project' on really because of the Vicar, who is one of the most persuasive people I know!...whether we ever get it made up, I have no idea, nor am I particularly worried!
His next and more realistic project I AM pretty keen on, which is to paint a mural to celebrate our sister church's 40th anniversary. THAT could be rather exciting!...I said I'd like to do a painting, thinking of a small 3'x 2' one, but he has bigger ideas!

I have had those kinds of conversations before too and take pains to make sure they understand that I don't work one inch off the ground. >.<
