Constantine and the Angel Gabriel
Apr. 15th, 2005 09:49 pmI went to see 'Constantine' and thoroughly enjoyed it and came away with this little drawing bunny....

Ok, I KNOW that you can't really slash angels since they are asexual and probably I'll go to hell for it anyway, but I have had SUCH fun!!!

Date: 2005-04-16 12:04 am (UTC)Urm...I did. Kinda.
Okay, so technically it wasn't slash (not until said Angel was reincarnated as a boy). But still. I'll go to hell with ya.

Date: 2005-04-16 11:24 am (UTC)Anyway back to this piccie...absolutely Stunning 0__0 I would say you are having a very good time playing with your drawing program *nods thoughtfully* and learing all kinds of applications in there) darn I am just very frustrated and sitting on my hands. I've ordered a book on visually learning Macromedia Fireworks...so hopefully it will be in the hopper when I get back and then we can both exchange info on tricks we've gleened
.I LOVE the wings...that goes without saying, but in particular the shading on them...did you do a fill and smudge to get the depth for some of those shadows??
The composition has a fantastic feeling of movement to it.....the swoop of the wings forward, the subtle flick of the feathers *^__^* wonderful ...absolutely wonderful

Date: 2005-04-17 10:59 am (UTC)Glad you are tracking the bloglines thing, I read your stuff about patches and so on and began to get thoroughly confused, but that is me I'm afraid - I can follow up to a point and then lose it. However, I am glad that you ARE following it all, and appear to know what you are doing!
I noticed while sneaking a look at your user info that you are a fan of Neil Gaiman? Mind you, that is not surprising, anyone with taste is after all. I did a pic for a friend a while back, to order, of Matthew. My interpretation of course....
Here if you want to see..
