I went to see 'Constantine' and thoroughly enjoyed it and came away with this little drawing bunny....



Ok, I KNOW that you can't really slash angels since they are asexual and probably I'll go to hell for it anyway, but I have had SUCH fun!!!

SURE you can slash angels....yaoi manages to do it all the time (Innocent Bird, Earthian)....heck I have both drawn AND written angel slash.


Anyway back to this piccie...absolutely Stunning 0__0 I would say you are having a very good time playing with your drawing program *nods thoughtfully* and learing all kinds of applications in there) darn I am just very frustrated and sitting on my hands. I've ordered a book on visually learning Macromedia Fireworks...so hopefully it will be in the hopper when I get back and then we can both exchange info on tricks we've gleened

.I LOVE the wings...that goes without saying, but in particular the shading on them...did you do a fill and smudge to get the depth for some of those shadows??

The composition has a fantastic feeling of movement to it.....the swoop of the wings forward, the subtle flick of the feathers *^__^* wonderful ...absolutely wonderful

I am having a great time, and would LOVE details of your fireworks book when you get it. It's exactly the sort of thing I have been looking for, there is masses around on adobe, which is fairly similar, but not fireworks, not in the shops anyway. Yes, the wings: I used the dodge and burn to get the highlights and shading. Suddenly discovered the buttons on the blur tool having not even noticed them before! It's useful having eldest's girlfriend learning adobe at college!
