Oh, Lord, you've discovered Forever_folked. She hates me, since the atomic warfare I unleashed on BJFic Mpregs last summer.

In fact, after my criticism of MPregs, she discovered my MPreg spoof, and proceded to call me a hypocrite, for criticizing MPregs when I actually wrote one myself. It's pretty funny exchange, located here, if you've a mind:

I read the exchange ~ most interesting especially the appalling spelling. What is it about being a defensive scribbler (I hesitate to say writer) that brings out even worse grammar and spelling?

The thing is, as I have said before to others, I don't actually get too uptight about things like spelling and grammar if the story is good, the characters are real or consistent with their film/TV personalities, or the author is trying to say something but unfortunately so often they are not.

I read your Mpreg parody not realising it was yours and LOVED it by the way. Perfect.

And the fatuous point made about gay couples being unable to have children and therefore Mpreg being appropriate? If someone wanted to write a GOOD story about the struggle for a same sex male couple to adopt or have a surrogate child to highlight the issues, that would be well worth reading and would give the subject the rightful attention it deserves. To make it all possible through the ludicrous fantasy of Mpreg belittles and trivialises a serious and heart rending issue for many gay couples.

And now I am getting all cross and serious and on one of my many soap boxes!

It's my theory that bad!fic writers aren't really interested in the subject they purport to write about, but are instead only interested in their own lives. So they write their own interests masked under the names of the couples, so they have a ready-made audience. It's incredibly tedious.

Glad you enjoyed! That actually started out as a rant on LJ. Yes, BBJFE was born out of an attack on bad BJfic - I started making fun of the whole thing... and that happened. We were all cracking up so hard we were crying. So it had to become a story. I posted it on BJFic on a dare. Unfortunately, no one over there who SHOULD read it got the point.

Oh yes, badfic is really just a thinly, badly disguised therapy session, that and a slightly morbid fascination with pain, abuse and death...you never see a bad fic that ISN'T horrendously angsty in subject matter.

Yeah I co-wrote a LotR Mpreg in a similar manner, having swore I would never, EVER write one! (And of course no one got the point, they probably thought it was a great, serious story unless someone pointed out to them it was a spoof)

SAVE ME!!!! I have been reading ALL of them!!! ...on second thoughts....just ONE more won't do any harm, and I can give them up JUST like that...honest I can...I really do think 'Autistic Artist' (HIGHLY dubious anyway) carries the very best quality in truly awful writing with this paragraph:

"...Brian looked down and could clearly see Justin’s penis tenting the black sweat pants he wore. This made Brian’s cock k even harder. He wanted to wait until later that night.
